My name is Tracey Littlestar and I'm a floral designer currently based in Houston, Texas.
Growing up in Colorado I was always captivated by the natural beauty of my surroundings and the recurrent gifts of Mother Nature: seed, germination, growth and slumber. Her various life stages showed me an ancient wisdom of creation and reciprocity; giving and taking. The very first time I gazed into the delicate eye of a sweet lilac pansy, a lifelong affaire de coeur settled in my soul. From that moment on I found myself searching out the intimate spaces formed by nature. The colors created by autumn leaves, the sound of whispering creek beds, the slow heavy arch of an oak tree, and the untended fields of wildflowers, greatly inspire me to illustrate the stories told by Mother Nature through my arrangements.
